Not Before My Parents organization's outdoor soccer league is dedicated to youth residing in Englewood & West Englewood that have been traumatically impacted by violence and poverty. This social impact initiative is to peak youth interest in playing recreational soccer in a fun and safe environment. Our goal is to introduce something new to youth in alternative sports, which allows them to explore other Chicago communities and build positive lifelong friendships with peers throughout the City of Chicago. Our motto is the same as the program name...KICK FOR YOUR GOALS.
PLAYERS
Open to Englewood youth ages 5 years – 12 years old. Teams to be divided as follows: Youth 5/6,Youth 7/8, Pre-teen 9/10, Pre-teen 11/12.
PRACTICE AND GAME SCHEDULE
Practice two days a week with games being played on Friday (evening) or Saturday Morning weather permitting. Weather related cancellations will be at the discretion of coach and leadership team. Practices to begin in April with games commencing in May.
UNIFORMS PROVIDED
Registered players will receive a team uniform, soccer socks, and cleats.
FOOD & BEVERAGES PROVIDED
An assortment of snacks and water will be provided to players on game days.
